Since this is the Canadiana thread, I cut up some vintage Canadian rags.
Street Cents was a television program the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation put out in the 90s, teaching the youths money management
I'm being frugal, reusing the rags to apply linseed oil. Matti gots the Street Cents

I love that slight dark blue shine on the old paint. Slight or deep, I am not sure, subtle anyway

The paint scheme took sixty five years to develop. I'm very pleased with all the tones, the dark blue finish coat, the light blue undercoat, the brass peeking through at the lugs, even the rust has a lovely tone. It is going to sparkle in the sunlight. Unfortunately, spring is many dark months away
