NOS Nakamura Summit 1997

Nakamura used to make some legit no fuss steel frames back in the day and offered really good value for the money.
@pedestrian, any ideea regarding the weight of the Zenith frame? Don't have information about the Nakamura's Lite Weight Series double butted tubing that they used to work with in the middle/end of the 90's.
Before that they used Fuji Stout Lite and Tange Steel - top of the line bikes used to have Prestige Ultrastrong down tube (don't think all frame was Prestige tubing as weights were around 2100 grams).

I've already sold that frame, but I have a Nakamura Shadow bike I'm about to disassemble. The sticker on the frame says Nakamura Light Weight Series. I can weigh that for you if you're interested.

It seems to be the same steel that Nakamura referred to as the Lite Weight Series and used in frame construction until the late 1990s.
Your Shadow frame has an oval or round down tube? Has snake stays or stright ones?
If you can, please let us know about the bare frame weight, as these frames are a bit of a mistery weight wise. Thank you!
