Recently found out these frames are not as harsh as aluminium generally. Slightly out of my league though. Maybe a Festina/Kelly purple jobbie will come up

they were great value for money frames back then, but were known to be a bit on the fragile side. i only had one and in that "violet" colour you can see in the photos.
so, a few shots of me and my chums in 1990 on L'Alpe d'Huez the day after Greg LeMond and co stormed up it. It was so hot we had to stop halfway and we were all race fit at the time as you can no doubt see!!

i chucked the bike for 12 years shortly after that holiday after getting trounced by the locals..the cruel realisation that i was never going to be the next Hinault or LeMond hit like a sack o' totties!!
