NOS Ayrton Senna bike

If all that XTR and the forks genuinely are (fitted but) NOS.. at current prices it’s worth way more than £750. By my sums it’s probably fairly priced at the BIN..

Now if you could prove that this is the actual one in the picture with the man himself then it's a bargain !

Would be very interesting to know how many they actually made.

Some good info on here from 2103 particularly with regards to the saddle.

Even that missing severely lowers the asking price.

I reckon it's more like £750 - 800, even in todays market.
I’m with you Onceahero If you were to buy it and split it the issue would be the frame and whether it’s got resale value given how specific it is with the build.

LOL. Dibs any M900 Pete 😉😉
I bow to members superior knowledge of XTR prices.

If I were parting with that money, I'd want it 100% complete.

If I could guarantee that it was and knowing about the saddle unless the seller still has it, it isn't, I think the price is a bit ambitious.

I might message the seller re the saddle and I.D plate it had from production.

Interesting to see if it sells though.

I'll keep an eye on it.

It’s a slightly strange mix of XTR as well, despite being a ‘94 bike (correct for Sennas fateful year), it has a large portion of the ‘95 XTR (cranks and hubs in particular) but not the sti’s...

Doing a bit of searching, I came up with this which will translate into English.

Nowhere does it mention the 700 which this bike is clearly labelled as !

There's the 770 but that's a full susser.

No ornate bar-ends on the eBay one either.

Oh and the pedals are all wrong as well.

Might be being picky but I reckon someone will go for it. I'd want to see it in the flesh though before I parted with me hard earned cash !

So I messaged the seller.

They've had it on display for years.

Alas, no paperwork for it.

They don't have any of the original missing parts and the tyres have been changed as well.

Genuine seller though i.e. not bogus.

94 watchers on it now.

Pete. I asked the seller frame size and make of wheels.

Got the same response you did.

I don’t like it, it looks suss. But good luck for you my friend. I’m not going to bid.
