I got some RM25s, old skool wide!

So thinner but weaker! I have some mint RM17s (grey) on mint black XT's. Would love to swap for RM20 on black XT!!!

Not really weaker as such in my opinion. Both good mid range rims at the time. It wasn't just the width, the number isn't actual wisth either. But also the RM-17 had the concave wall design for the era in question.
