Here's a project I've been looking forward to. A NOS 1994 Specialized FSR.

Its comes with ti stem, specialized seat post and fsx forks all NOS as well.

The only mark is the on the down tube which is about very small, other than that its mint.

Now starts the long journey finding the rest of the NOS parts to build it.

It's a small world -- I made a deal to buy that frameset, but apparently I didn't pay quickly enough and it was sold from under me. Good luck with the build and tell Larry I said "hi". :roll:

fsr

Have'nt met Larry, he's got quite a collection from what I've seen.

Did'nt buy it from him, a friend of his got it for me.

oh my god, that's a great purchase :shock:

2 questions;

is it an 18"?

are you going to ride it? (obvious question I think with every nos frame :D )

If the alps 5 is dried out etc, risse racing in California still rebuilds them.
Thanks for the tip... I have several in different states of repair from which I would like to get one or two working...

Dont know about the riding. Going to build it nos and hang it on the wall.

Do they have the same top tube length as the 18" stumpjumpers? If I recal correctly they were a bit shorter :?:
