Fair do's fella....i would'nt wear a Tommy Copper at all, would'nt want to get lulled into a false sense of security. I'd wear the parachute type and ride very hard for very long (what trouble venting), i'd also wear nowt on me swede but ride accordingly/different location.

Think this has run it's course now.

I'm pro-choice when it comes to helmets -- I choose to wear one (usually), I don't think people should generally be made to wear them. But if the conditions of entry of a race, event or organised ride say you need to, that's fine -- anyone who chooses not to wear a helmet can choose not to attend

All we ask is that you wear a normal helmet when attending a retrobike ride. If this is unacceptable then you can give it a miss.
