Michael Jackson is top at the mo last week Freddie Mercury was i have to say Freddie should be top axl though i loved him in G& R original lineup should not be 4th especially with some the options so far in list

for me it should be

James Brown (not in list that i can see)
David Bowie
Robert Plant
John Lennon
Elvis (not a fan either)
Michael Jackson

Even if was best Frontman for me FM would still top it man could comand his audience in ways many today still cant match in my opinion

How can you hold a "Greatest ever singer" poll without including the truly great singers? Those who can fill a theatre or other venue with awesome musicallity and subtlety of emotion without the help of amplification.

I mean the great opera singers - the Cecilia Bartolis, Placedo Domingos, and yes, even the Bryn Terfels and Alfie Bowes of the world.
