Saracen built some beautiful bikes in their day.

A Saracen e-stay was my first 'proper' MTB and did me for thousands and thousands of miles.....maybe I should bring it back to life as a Single Speed (don't tell Mrs Neill though )

as i say i never knew thy did do one didnt start riding till 92 and didnt really look at saracen till a lil later so never see or knew they did an estay must admit i really thought it was a nishiki badged wrong but will assume its a goodun as its an early saracen

The same as mine mate, bought it from Evans Cycles in Croydon was on offer in the back of MBUK. Headset always seemed to work loose, wish I still had it as like you would have single speeded it!

Got mine from some big place in Chesterfield.....I think it cost £699.
The frame is in my mates shed, may even have the forks.

This one will be a 'back-burner' project when I've done everything else and I'll probably make a SS out of it and fit some RC30's to the front

I remember the white trainer jibes....brave man up in Edale with red tyres and white trainers.....not heard from him for ages.
