Think this is one of the “better” ones, the “other” ones have pressed dropouts etc. Not sure if this is one of the 531 models but definitely has some nice ‘80s components on it including bear trap pedals.

Ahhhh......amazing, think its the model just below the 'Pro' SBDU version..... I need that seatpost and the stem, will have a bid! missed one on ebay a caouple of months ago that went for £82 bin.

Its not 531 as far as I know...but def better hardware that standard Mavericks.

It's been years since I had a Dawes Ranger - but the front/rear mech, brake levers, cantis, even the dork disc look quite familiar.
