It looks like Kona's "track 2" fork which I have only seen 1 other in person or for sale.
Would be cool to have but not at that price.

The owner has asked about this bike on mtbr vrc. I think it may well be an original custom paint job by Paul Brodie.

Aside from that, it's a pretty standard 1990 Explosif with Track 2 fork.

As to its value, if it is painted by Brodie and it's anyway unique, it ought to be worth more than a standard 1990 Explosif. Whether it will raise it, especially on Craigslist, is another matter.

89' Kona Explosif with the Track 2 upgrades ($100 upgrade in 89'). It is a nice ride. Kona had these forks for a only a few years. They are very hard to come by.
