The bearings have started making a frightening cracking noise in my front hack bike hub . I know it's coz the races are badly pitted and repacking and replacing bearings as i did not too long ago is a short term fix.
So i would like a new front wheel, mavic silver rim or something black, not too fussed what, but eyeletted a bonus, rims must have a lot of meat on them as this bike wades through much grinding canal mud.
hubs can be black silver red or blue, a later vintage hub is good (96-2000+) as the bike is a 99 and has suss forks.
Wheel must be straight and true, i dont mind repacking bearings but no pitted races please. Sealed bearings fine also
and not looking to spend the earth as this is the work/hack bike.
sure i spotted a thread only a few days back with a good few front wheels only listed which i liked and were cheap but i cant find it now.
