So, The boiler died yesterday, everybody dreads it and I am totally unprepared for the bill that will be on its way. :shock: :shock:
time to move another bike through. collection please, payment in notes or paypal gift.
Here I have a 18" Karakoram in one of the best colours out there.... Inferno, matching stem and frame is still very vibrant and would grace any singletrack. it has a few chips but nothing bad and has no dings.
Mainly a Deore DX groupset F & R derailleurs, Cantilevers (std was LX). chainset had to be replaced so a black Deore LX was fitted and a black Deore U-brake was fitted as the old LX units springs had died (I thought u-brakes lasted forever too) the DX sti had died too, tried really hard to save these but sadly they were toast. suffice to say I have fitted some nice XT units instead - new shifter cables added and rear brake cable too. wheels are DX on Wolber AT20s, spokes are a bit untidy but straight, tyres are ritchey, these were fitted to them when new but the front is now wearing through on the walls, I will of course supply a replacement schwalbe front tyre.
I am asking for £125 for this beautiful bike, thats half the price of a shmoo's cycles karakoram!
