Yeah i do think its high spec for a Carrera alright Its not a £2000 cannondale road bike (but then it would not be up for £250) but it was the top Carrera road bike in their
range when I bought it and was £550 apposed to the bottom road carrera witch was £300 at the time
The weight and quality of frame and the wheel set and components make a very good entry-level road-racing bike,
The only thing it lacks is snob value!
