Up for sale the following 1996 new-in-box/new-old-stock Shimano XTR components:
- nib HB-M 900, front hub, drilling 36_________________60 eur
- nib HP-M 901, 1" 1/8 headset_____________________120 eur
- nos BB-UN 90, bottom bracket, 107mm, ita thread_____80 eur

I'm curious why you're calling this a 1996 group? m900 came out in 1992 and existed until 1994. 1995 saw some short-lived m910 bits and retained some m900 bits. 1996 was the first year of the iconic m950 group in 'xtr gray'.

This group appears on my Italian Shimano 1996 catalogue: this is the reason.

I'm curious why you're calling this a 1996 group? m900 came out in 1992 and existed until 1994. 1995 saw some short-lived m910 bits and retained some m900 bits. 1996 was the first year of the iconic m950 group in 'xtr gray'.

Ok. It's wrong but it's semantics too. M900 is m900. Great stuff. But 1996 was m950...also great stuff.

Ok. It's wrong but it's semantics too. M900 is m900. Great stuff. But 1996 was m950...also great stuff.

Indeed M900 was only two years made
1992 and 1993
from 1994 til 1995 it was M910
in 1996 there was the runner up M950
no more M900

Hi PeteC, hi gert.
I intended it was an issue, so I deleted "1996" in advertisement's title.
For sake of accuracy, I did not replaced it with "1992" or "1993" as I don't know manufacture date of my M900 components.
