It is a pretty hard frame to make, the main frame and chain stays are from one round tube.

I guess that's why it never made it into production that way. A very industrial approach. I would guess it's not the lightest frame... Interesting approach though.

That's what everyone thinks. It looks massive but it isn't. The weight is under the 2kg
The original Rafty have a maintube of 7,7 cm and the proto one of 8,8cm.
The black/yellow Rafty is even lighter than the SBIKE.
