And before long you will have a shed full. You have discovered what we have known for years. There is more to bikes than simply how much they weigh. Before long you will be drooling over something that was probably made before you were born.Poverty will creep in. You will get that glazed look whenever a steel bike passes you on the road. You are a lost man but by heck you will be a happy one. Enjoy
I’ve already bought a frame ready for first build...

Part of ther yorkshire trio. Ellis Briggs.Woodrup and Bob Jackson. Tha cant go wrong wi them lad.Have two Ellis briggs and my Favori is just the best bike I have ever owned. That is a 95. The other one was built for a chap in 69 as a standard road bike.He then had it modified at some point to a light tourer with all the braze ons. I bought it this year as the second owner.Says a lot about Briggs that someone would use one as a lifetime bike. its in 531 with nervex pro lugs in flam red and silver. Its got soul has that bike. When you get to the furthest point of the ride you just feel that you want to carry on into the blue yonder.Does not happen with any of the others.A bit special. if you want decals for yours you should be able to get them at lloyds on the web. If you are in Yorkshire and you want a complete re finish then Chris Marshall at Bingley. No one finishes classics as well as Chris and his prices are reasonable. He trained at Pennine and knows his stuff.

Cheers mate appreciate the info on my other post the bikes being picked to pieces about dates etc because rear drop outs are from 70s if you go on Ellis Briggs site it shows you them actually changing whole rear stays etc
But any way I’m sending it to my mates paint shop for paint and I’ll look at o yd’s for the logos but the building with Campagnolo chours set I’ve got inc scirocco 20s so I can use it daily 8)
