Newbie with orange aluminium elite

Hi new here and an introduction

Came across this site whilst researching for my bike

Had it from new and use to race it over 20 years ago

In the process of giving it a good clean and overhaul

Main concern is the 11/4 inch headset where can I get a replacement ?

I have the original forks and rock shocks that I brought with the bike

Will post some photos shortly and will be looking on guidance on what and where to buy stuff I'm alittle rusty on all the new gear these days

Welcome good luck with the bike the best place to buy stuff is on here and dont worry about all the new stuff just buy old! you could check out the archive and gallery at the top of the page theres loads of good information that people have uploaded

Welcome to the site - and a loverly bike to have. There are still a few options at 1-1/4". Chris King for one. Worst case scenario you could get reducer cups to 1-1/8 and then run whatever you like. As said if you put a post in the wanted section there will be a few offers in the £15-£50 range.
