Newbie question about kona hahanna

Retro Newbie
I have an older 1994 kona hahanna and I’m looking to start using. I’d like a good looking single front crank to replace the old nakered 3 piece that’s on. I’m keeping the rear gears will upgrade them in the future. I have no idea what style bottom bracket is on there AND what size teeth crank I should fit. I’ve been looking around but it’s all abit confusing to me. Please can some recommend a good front crank which looks decent for maybe less than £50? Many many thanks in advance

Do you plan to ride it on or off road? That’ll dictate the gearing. You could always convert the front chainset to single ring.

I assume you are running square taper bb, if you go to modern through-axle cranks you’ll need to change the bottom bracket too.

no off road mate just road hills and light trail use , I’ve see some cool looking old konas on here but when I google the chainset it’s like a minefield for someone who’s not clued up. I think the chainset is original would that be a taper bb?
