Newb pedal question

Newbie question I bought some new Campag pedals for my Campag cranks both say 9/16 x 20 but the pete also seem very tight, should they be or am I missing something and have purchased the wrong thread size?

Should be fine. If it's any consolation my Campag Gran Sport pedals always seem tighter to fit cranks than othe rmakes.

Thanks old school, the first couple of turns are fine then it becomes more difficult ,I just didn't want to force or strip a thread.

You are turning them the correct way? The LH pedal has a LH thread.

Yes! All installed the first one was much stiffer than the other I m not sure why ,thanks again.
