I've got mine built up to some mavic 717 disc rims and they are brill.

Lightweight and very strong for an xc rim even for me and I'm more of a St Bernard than a whippet

while I remember to ask this, I have bought an early 2000's (ish) Hope M4 brake, the four pot jobbie, but the bolts for the rotor to attach to the hub are really far apart - I can pass the whole hub through the centre of the rotor!

Do I need some sort of spider type thing to adapt it to the correct size 6 bolt fittment, or is it easier just to pick up a replacement rotor? I'm guessing the later would be easier.

I'm guessing that nobody has any ideas for this then!? I shall continue scouring for an answer using the e-superpower known as google...
