NEW Ritchey Commando *WOW*

I figure if you are pretty sure the bike isn't stolen, pay what the person wants. Willing seller + willing buyer = all good.
sometimes they just want to get rid of them. Those 2 treks I got for parts last week for example. One had a full XTR gruppo on it almost NOS. Easily worth over a grand parted out and he knew it. He practically gave them to me. Ofcourse he lived in a multi-million dollar home so I didn't feel bad. Had it been a person in need it may have been a different story.

Kinda judgmental, don't you think?

In regards to judging that thread and the OP's actions therein as something right or wrong, yep, I guess it is kinda judgemental.

As far as judging that person as being good or bad, nope, I don't make those judgements, as least not quickly if ever. Aside from the thread in debate, RichieB might be a great guy; I don't know the man, and have never stated different. I believe I've confined my judgements to a very narrow scope, namely that $75 commando thread.

Before I can judge anyone, (as if I can really judge anyone), I judge myself if that makes it any better. I stated that I would not do that, and then I stated why, when the assumption was made that I would.

So the bigger question, what's wrong with being judgemental over certain actions at certain times? Perhaps we are all judemental at any given moment. I have yet to find a human being that is absolutely objective, unless of course it benefits him to be that way, and then, is it still objective? Haha, perhaps.

bush, have you ever been judgemental on the various internet forums, and have you ever believed something to be right or wrong? I wouldn't want to assume that you have judged the actions of another if you infact never have :)

So....given what the slightly odd but nicely preserved Everest went for earlier this week....let's take some wagers on what this Commando will do!

I think the appraised value is optimistic, but wouldn't be surprised if it crested over 2k.

Yes, that everest went higher than I anticipated, perhaps it was the rear deraileurs; it was well preserved.

hmmm, the seller's Yo Richard and Mountain Goat both went lower than his BIN asking price, but not by much. I'll wager $1900 as the final price, only because he disclosed a dent that has been fixed. Otherwise it could hit 2k and over...still might if the right people want it.

update:

guess 1900 was optimistic...not bad for $1600.
