Just out of curiousity....wouldn't it be overkill if you put the Girvin flex system on the bike if it already had suspension forks? I mean the purpose of the suspension stem (Which I have! Softride) was to lighten up on the bike while giving it some sort of dampening for the rider!?!

yes it took me ages to find one!

That frame snapped and is waiting to be resprayed at the moment. The current incarnation is below but I need to get a wider BB so I can pop the Cooks back on....
