Excellent project.Should look well once finished .
I have plenty of brake blocks to fit.If you are stuck.{£1 50 for four + post}

If you are changing to cable brakes, then you will need to source 32 x 40 26" 1 3/8" endrick rims, and drill the fork crown, and rear bridge, old brakes were 1/4". You will still have the hole through the bottom head lug.

it still needs a new headset, and ive only gave a rattle can coat of paint as the powder coater let me down, but I coulden't resist building it up. the first trip round the block a few time was nice. im going to take it round my granddads and surprise him in the week. it still belong to him, he keeps telling me how he road it down to poole from brize norten where he met my nan. he also tells me about riding from Glasgow to the isle of skye when he was a kid so that may be on the books. though in reality it will probley just get used as a town bike. there a lot of family history so im not allowed to sell it.
I found a couple of foxes glaicer mints in the bars when I took the grips off. granddads little stash :)
