Hard ass bikes

Most e-stays are a tad 'nervous' when trying to descend at the speed of modern bikes - and a rigid AS more than most!

I had to put some suspension on the front of my CroMega to give me something approaching all day comfort and a little more safe speed on the downs.

What did you fit to yours? the front looks pretty slack already so I'm guessing very short travel?
I got the bike for only £20 from a guy who was having a clear out at home and I remembered the A.S. name. If nothing else it's got me back into the old bikes again and it's been fun tidying it up.
I don't think I'd spend a great deal on it as it's not my ideal choice and It could be diminishing returns. As it stands now it owes me nothing.
