New Fork for my Klein 1992 Attitude

fork replaced

the fork has been replaced, looks great, what i noticed because i had the chance to see a brand new 1993 sunburst next to my 1992 sunburst, that the 1993 sunburst has some more red and pink and less yellow than my bike from 1992.

so great job by Jon, quite hard to paint a fork in the right color without having the original bike next to it! see the pictures, looks way better now (a little, but really only a very little ;-) too much pink, hard to see) and makes fun to ride, the old klein feeling back again, more direct and more stable.

also replaced the switch for adjusting the saddle pole. and new brake pads, the original XTR are a little hard by now ;-)

next step, echanging the tires with some amberwalls.

by the way my dealer told me that my head bearings (original ones) still look great and don't need a replacement.

How could your dad have found the original fork and NOT know what bike it belongs to with those colours? Anyway it looks great, paint job seems like a very close match to the frame!

well, i moved out some years ago, and took the bike with me, but left the fork at my parents as well as some other stuff. Then my dad thought that the bike is no longer here and what is a fork without a frame good for and threw it away,!*!&!**!

well Jon did a good job and tried to mach the bike as closely as possible. a bit too much pink, but great looking :-) and the bike feels much better now with the rigid fork when riding it
