Thanks to all who helped me find out the hard way in this thread about fake Chris King headests.

I have now taken this up with the person who sold it me on ebay.
Guy called "Kyotoblue" has sold 3 of these recently. Maybe he getting them from china?

i will leave this up so peeps can see it.

This was done in all inoccence and i did not knowingly try to mislead anyone.

I'm sorry to tell you that this is a 100% fake Chris King headset... and it's actually one of the worst fakes I've ever seen.

If it was purchased as genuine you should return it for a refund.

How can you tell? Ok, the crown race is obvious, but is there anything else? Words on top cap don´t seem to have a correct space between them. Sealed, for example looks like "S E AL ED"... Is that it?

Just noticed the bearings are Cartridge and not sealed! Magic Camera eh? Can't believe anyone would bother! prob cost a fiver from some dubious Chinese factory!

It's hard to tell with the flash, but looking at those photos and looking at the new blue King I have on my desk, I'd say it's the wrong colour too- looks nearer to a Hope blue!
