New car/bike bus advice

I've been following this thread for a while as i'm looking for a new bus as well. Think i'm going to have a go at this. 2.4 type S fully loaded. My mate has one and we got 6 bikes in the back and managed 50mpg :shock: fast driving as well! Have been considering Mondeo St's as i've just got rid of one. great, quick cars, expensive when they go wrong.

My S Max manages over 50 on the motorway at overtaking lane speed.

It is a seven seater with the rear two removed it is pretty much a tardis.

Great second hand buy now the prices have dropped.

I had a Kangoo which was great and spacious - swapped it for a Merc V220 - 7 seats and plenty of luxuries - the kids love it - i get 40 mpg ish with mine and that includes the daily commute - the only downside is that everyone always want to sit in the back and i just feel like a bloody chauffeur
