New camera - better pics?

all look a tad out of focus to me except in very small areas? what kind of camera is it? do you have any control over F stops to give a greater depth still in focus?

its a Nikon D3000 set to 'idiot' mode (auto) I'm loving the tight depth of field it has for close ups. My old cameras were rubbish.

Glad you like your new camera and sure you will have loads of fun with it especially when you give the other settings a go

Maybe use a faster shutter speed to avoid a bit of blurring due to camera shake when shooting handheld
