You may have got that I hate modified cars

And i hate dull modern standard cars

It's like Eck said, people build cars like this because they can, personaly i'd hate to splash out 15-20K on a car and see one the exact same on the next street corner or another five the same in Tesco's car park.

As you said yourself though each to their own

In fact, I dont hate all modified cars. Some classic cars (old VW's for example) look lovely with a few tweaks.
What I hate is shitty everyday family cars with pic-nic tables stuck on the back and cornflake boxes for wheel arches.
Its not so much the actual fast cars I dislike, its more the spotty teenagers who buy some crappy corsa and cover it in crap from halfords.
Its the mentality of buying a £500 car and then spending thousands on it to make it look fast when all its doing is slowing it down.
I'm sure if Vauxhall thought having an ironing board attached to the boot of the corsa would improve its handling characteristics, then they would have released a Tefal edition

As this represents the majority of modified cars (imho), I tend to tar them all with the same brush.

Going to scuttle off now and sit in my nondescript Honda

Many modern riders have the same mentality about us riding old "shit" bikes and splashing money on them. Why would we ride an old rigid bike with crap brakes when we could fly down that mountain much faster on something that was designed to go faster.

I personally would have the focus over an M5. All time favourites would be a Group B rally Metro 6R4 or 205 T16... basically the manufacturer let loose modifying a "shit" car :D

Ah, sorry K, i quite like silver ones with bike racks

You know what i mean, by not like i meant i would'nt normaly consider buying one, a 5.0 V8 kind of changes things though, stick a 5.0 V8 in a Trabant and i'll think it's awesome

i love modified cars.

having a new M5 doesn't mean you know anything about cars, just money and I probably dont want to talk cars with you.

someone who owns a V8 Focus, now thats the sort of person I would like to talk cars with.

if this little clip here doesnt excite you, you are not a petrol head
