Re:
Chris Poyzer in at number 13, it was his Dad that owned Super cycles in Notts back in the day, they closed down but own Onza i think and have been trading online for years but opened a new shop in Notts a couple of years back. I've met Chris a couple of times and he still races BMX and still has the last bike he raced MTB on, a Scott Pro racing in black with full M900, bit worse for wear now mind. Tried to buy it off him but he was having none of it.
Talking shops though and at number 5, the best shop that ever existed, ever. sShockwave was the place for high end low production kit from the US, they had everything from Manitou, Funk and Goats, all the bling you could imagine like Ringle, Cook bros and more yet still sold stuff normal people could afford like Orange, Marin etc. Bought my first proper bike from them, matt black clockwork. If time travel was possible, that would be where i was heading right now!
