Help to understand , the original frame or fake. I know that the brake cable to go from the top of the pipe , but I have 3 guides from the bottom of the pipe. Could it be from the factory or changed over time? What can be said for the rest of the signs ? New paint , stickers pasted is not quite right , I know . Thanks for the help!

Re:

Wouldn't like to say definitively, but there are lots of strange things about this.

The cut outs in the lugs and fork crown look clumsy and too big for Colnago.
A lot of Colnagos had 'Colnago' pantographed under the Clover on the fork crown.

Never seen another Colnago with the cable guides under the top tube like that,
though it would be an easy modification for a frame builder to do if they were asked.

I also don't remember seeing the extra cut outs on the sides of the lugs on a Colnago.

Here's a link to a bloke (member on this site) who collects and sells Colnagos - maybe contact him and have a look at his site:

Is there anything written on the bottom bracket cupos that points to an Italian thread. Or measure the shell, Italian is 70mm.

Roy Thame's frame builder had a penchant for clover leaves.

Oh yes, and a lot of colnagos had colnago engraved in the rear drop out, and the frame size stamped on the drive side rear drop out.
