Need an Orange expert!

I was lucky enough to collect a lovely and quite original 17” Orange Alu Elite today- well if you consider 4 hours’ extra driving on a long drive lucky. But it was worth it. It was nice to buy an Orange from Orange territory, just 10 miles from Halifax.
The bike is A2040044. It has Suntour XC Comp and is in great condition.

The previous owner had another Orange frame sat in his shed and gave it to me for free. It has a lot of different details from the aluminium elite and the serial number 4504A0155. Here are some pics. Can anyone identify it?

Another question! On the Elite, do these decals look right? They are very different to the decals on my extremely original (tatty) elite and the retro ones from Gil. Grateful for any inputs!

Hmmmm, decals don't look right to me, they should be solid not translucent as these seem to be? As for the other frame, the decals are the early style 89/90 but the frame isn't. Possibly an E2?

Those decals are wrong, I ditched a standard set when I polished mine and had a Gil set, they were identical and neither were translucent just as brocklanders023 says ^^^
They wouldn't be anyway, the frames had a clear lacquer on them when new and over time it goes wormy as water get between it and the metal, only cure is to remove it and polish the bare frame, your frame looks to have been polished.
