Hey will learn the violence from other. Children, just like we did and our parents before.


I am a strong believer in nurture over nature. I love guns, violence, horrible graphic films and entertainment.


But I teach my children respect of all life , and being good and kind to others.


My little boy (17 months) dances to disco, wears his sistes dressed and ate with her dolls.
But his favourite go to toys are my slingshots.

No encouragement either way.

What you said earlier regards martial arts I believe is a good thing to get kids into, and those whom I have known in the past including a couple of olympic class fighters, have been complete pacifists and they knew how to avoid violence, they seemed to have an awareness others didn't. What the hell they were doing in the armed forces like me was a good question.

But I understand martial arts are about discipline and correct thought.
