Yup. Very nice frames. I had the one with the extended top tube a'la GT's. That must have been about '94 so I'm guessing this one is earlier.

Gotta be worth a punt.

Shame it doesn't have it's original forks, they were well sexy!

EDIT:......but it hasn't got a canti hanger, so it must be later, did they stop doing the fancy top tube?? :?

Pretty sure there was a Kili Flyer frame in 21" on STW today for £75.....

I asked the seller if it could be a Kili Flyer and he said: "pretty sure it is a saracen came without decals"

the 853 frames were about '97, just before saracen went all 'modern'. i think trick racing used them in '96, sans saracen stickers?

Those were being sold at the Bike show at the NEC in about 1999 (ish) in unpainted form by a guy with lots of crazy stuff on his stand, as being a Saracen Kili 853.

About £50 for an unpainted frame, no 'guarantee' it's 853, and on the sample I brought they were quite heavy. Nice enough frame, but I'd only want to respray it...

Nice to find out what this frame may be.

Brought a frame like this, labelled 853,early last year on ebay.

It had some rack mounts brazed on and was resprayed metallic grey by Argos by the previous owner.

It crossed my mind that it might be a Saracen as the teardrop cable stops are the same as my '97 Tufftrax.

Yet to build,may be some time as moving house, but now intend to build up with'98 XT bits etc.
