name the bike on the early 90s onza ad with odd forks

unless my mind plays tricks on me (which it may well do) I recall i bike in some of the earlier (i.e. 1990/91/92?) with funky looking 'upside down' rigid forks. My memory says it was brnaded club roost but I think that was wrong?

anyone else remember this? Or were the chemicals the industrial carpet cleaners were using at work today a bit too strong...
