I've owned this a couple of years now after aquiring it in a job lot of bike bits & some some reason it's avoided all my clear outs, so I've decided it'd be worth finding out what it is!
It's steel, weighs in just under 2kg has a 26.2 seatpost diameter, 1 1/8 headtube, frame number is IE701311 and inside the rear drop out is stamped HO48, two cable guides down on side of the top tube & one on the otherside of the top tube. I was told it's around 1996. Looks to have been repainted (well) at some point as it's postcoded & the colour is over that.
Anyone have any ideas what it is?

Re:

Possibly a Sunn with that seat post size....? (Maybe it's 26.4?) Or an early Voodoo.....?

What size is it, want to sell it?

Not a Sunn, the seatpost split is on the back of the post, Sunns have it at the front, cable routing's wrong and the snakestays only happened on the flexy frames as far as I know. Sunn serial numbers pre-Y2K started Sxx where xx is the year, usually less one (so a '97 would have a serial that started S96, year of manufacture rather than year of sale). Later models had the model name stamped on the BB shell as well.

And I should have known that, as I own a Sunn Xircuit.....

 It's about 16.5" goodness only know's what I'm gonna do with it, it's a bit tatty!

Re:

May be a bit too big for me then, I was just thinking, I've still got a single speed tensioner in a box somewhere.... 8)

Re:

Mid 90's Diamond Back (Apex & Apex SE) bikes have the same cable routing, (I have 2 Apexes  , underrated, but very nice, pssssttt), weight is similar, both of them have seatposts sized as 27.0 mm, though (a pain in the back to find a good seatpost for them).

Curved rear stays, rearward facing seattube slot, missing/not included threaded eyes for mudguards & panniers, 68 mm BB width, 1 1/8" headtube are also similar features.

If it's not a DB,possibly a copy of them, made in the same Far Eastern factory?

?????
I'm thinking it maybe a Khs as I've noticed a similar marking / code on the inside of the dropout on a Khs frame I have.
