Name that bike

Bought this a few months back and still can't really identify it appart from it's a NERVEX frame.
Can anyone shed any light on it ?
It's going up for sale when i find out what it is and what it's worth

Nervex is the brand name for the lugs and BB shell. The frame itself could be absolutely anything.

Not sure why but it looks a bit Dawes.....ish.

Somebody else threw the name Dawes up the other week.
As far as selling would it be better stripping it down to frame n forks or just as it comes ?

Looks like a 60's Coventry Eagle...I had one as my touring bike back in the late 70's.

Dawes or Coventry Eagle not sure but a fairly low end frame say about £60.

I think it would have had the leaf pattern on the tops of the stays if it was a Dawes.

Difficult to say a lot about it because the lugs are unmodified, so it's hard to pick out a particular builder.
