This was shot at Lausanne during rush hour and is indeed all downhill to the lake. Apparently this was a performance piece which demonstrates the simplicity, fluidity, efficiency and freedom of cycling compared to the act of driving which is described as a act of making war.
"Rouler en voiture, c'est faire la guerre." était la phrase de base.
translates as:
"Driving by car is making war." was the basic sentence.

As a statement it's quite nice, but it's hard to get past the fact that he's riding like a total nutter, albiet with some good skills. I wouldn't be stopping at traffic lights without my kit on if it were me though.

well ive only been to london once in my life and i was 8 (so roughly 20 years ago)

so i cant comment on what cyclists are like around london way.

i'm just commenting on cyclists ive seen.

im just saying if you ride like a twat with cars about your gonna get what you deserve (if only this was true, its usually the people who ride sensibly who get knocked off and killed)

Your right. few years back I was waiting for the lights to change to green. And next in A&E . Car hit me from the rear. he got 6 points and I got £5500 in compensation.
