Hi All
Complete frustration at my failure to identify the model or even the original type of bike this was has led me to Retrobike. Help! I am thinking of either a refurb or a sympathetic update based on what it originally was. Non original parts are I think the Wolber M59 touring rims and the flat bars, brake levers and thumb shifters. The rest look like they are the same era as the frame. The 'Campione del Mondo' decal is marketing rather than the model. Crankset is Sugino. No bottle cage bosses. There seems to be marks on the down tube where the band of the shifters might go. There is a '7' stamped on the bottom bracket shell just visible in one of the pics. The dropouts are marked 'gipiemme'. The gold theme seems very unusual for Bianchi. Has anyone got any ideas what it is?
