mystery frame needs identifying please?

Hi guys picked this up today, can you please identify the frame? Pretty sure its steel but got unusual shape on the rear stays, also the joint behind the seat tube almost looks like suspension, the rear stay is bolted in and not one piece.the guy was pretty sure it was a Raleigh and a high spec frame in its day.thanks guys I look forward to some help thanks jon

Looks like one of the later Raleigh Dynatech frames

Google images should show up something that matches.........

Awesome thanks Shaun, I'll do some research. I thought I recognised something of it.I remember them from being a kid

Just had a quick google and it does look like a later dynatech with the wishbone design of seat stays. Very nice if memory serves they came in steel, titanium, a sintered material but not carbon fibre

lol on the tablet, I use my phone and Swype which in theory is super fast however most of the time almost illegible

P.s she's not going down very well with Mrs k so may be looking for a new home =-O
