My unhealthy hoard of early Orange Bikes!

Orange 🍊 Fan
Thought I would contribute by putting up a post or two, as I really enjoy browsing though this site on a daily basis, but never actually put anything up myself! (so apologies  ).

Since my childhood I have always liked the early orange bikes, particularly pre 1995. I was lucky enough to purchase an orange Clockwork when I was 14, and had it for almost 16 years when it finally gave up :( . Then in 2014 I decided I would like to get myself another early Clockwork, since then I have got the orange bug badly, and have a obtained 10 frames and forks. 3 of these bikes are built. I have 2 built Orange Clockworks, a 1992 & 1993, and an unfinished 92 clockwork. A Orange Aluminium Elite 1992 frame and forks with a ali stalk stem and hotrod bars and an orange seat post and saddle. Also accumulated is a built up 1995 Orange E3 with a mixture of Shimano LX & XT with Ritchey comp wheels and more orange branded gear. also in the garage is 3 Alumnium O 91-92 frame and forks and an Orange Prestige 1993. One of my personal favourites is the rare 1993 Orange Dynamo road bike, which I picked up with barely a nick on it, still unfinished, but will be donning a Shimano Ultegra 9 speed groupset shortly, and this bike also has the period saddle, seatpost & pin. Anyway in the next couple of coming months I hope to put up some build threads for my dynamo and elite and one of the Alu O's. :D

Re:

A very comprehensive collection! Some nice bikes there - I like the earlier decals on one of the black Clockworks.
But what you need is a Vit T / Vit T2

Re:

Thanks very much MatBH5 :D . Yes the Vit T is definitely the ultimate orange! will have along wait for one of them am afraid to come up, plus need to finish building these up!

Yup, you've definitely been tango'd. I like what you've done with the Aluminium O in white. I'm puzzled though? All those oranges and not one traditional clockwork ?

Re:

Thanks Kell & KDM, yes been tango'd!! . Yes it surprises me also in regards to a classic orange colour (traditional) one. If one becomes available and I like it then may get one in the future. There is some beautiful traditional clockworks on the Orange clockwork club which I regularly drool after!! :P

Re:

Thanks DICKO10, yes I really like the Alum O frame and orange hotrods I got from you :D , and the rare Stalk stem that went with it. gonna go traditional with this Alloy O.
