My Ultimate so far...

Yep I need the decals in the worst way. I have a scan of the "Yeti Ultimate from the down tube. I need scans of the head tube and rear seatstay decals. I have a PM out to Gil.. fingers crossed.

Anyone out there with a 1-1/8" steerer Accutrax that's 9" long or so. I'll happily purchase it!

Also I've just about determined that the Critical stem is just not stiff enough and would happily trade it for something more appropriate. Preferably black, preferably ATAC! :D

I know it's probably sacrilege but I really prefer to stay with the threadless steerer. I remember the "nut" headsets too well and prefer to stay away from that.

beautifull!
is it the stem or bars?! although i never heard complaints from those 118 i had the 140grs. titec ti bar and it was slightly too flexy.

i agree w/ scant: you want answer accutrax forks.

Definitely the stem.. that thing is noodly. I think it's supposed to be that way. There doesn't seem to be any creaking or cracking going on. You can visibly watch the stem flex.

It's looking good (for an elevated stay bike which I'm not big on aesthetically)

But that saddle has to go. Sorry........

lol.. probably true about the saddle. Truth is, I'm just keeping it on there temporarily so I can get some miles on it to break it in. I will be going the suggested Flite route.

The brooks is going on my Surly Karate Monkey. I going for real funky with that!

For me, I know how f'n hard it is to source the 'correct' parts for these. Short of impossible but far from easy, so I'm gonna say job well done. I like it, and I bet it rides just fine. :D
