Retro Newbie
Here's my present retro road bike. It started life as a Raleigh Sensor, which I believe was an early 80's bike.
This bike was saved from the scrap man and donated to me as a project earlier this year. I'd never so much as fixed a puncture before this, so fettling this bike was a bit of a trail by fire.
To cut a long story short, I stripped everything right down to component parts, painted the frame, bought a few replacement parts, fixed up what was salvageable, and built everything back up. All I need now is some bar tape
I love riding this bike. It's my first road bike so it feels nimble and quick. The tube shifters are taking some getting used to, but that's just me being useless!
