MY RALEIGH MIRAGE NOT SEEN ANOTHER THIS COLOUR

thought i would put this pic up of my mucky rider, a raleigh mirage made up of bits lying about the garage, its a solid ride and very comfy, no slip discs here.
not seen another mirage this colour even when you do a google image seach nothing comes up but white ones or the later purple colour, and its not a sticker ed up montage as the frames different as i have one.

Bitd, a mate of mine had a Montage in that colour.

Mirage and Montage and in 1990 for 1 year only Moonrun shared frame and forks with differences in components, but there were differences from year to year with things like rear brakes originally being U brakes and later Cantis, headtubes changed from 1" to 1 1/8th. That to me looks like a stickered up 1989 Montage frame (1988 was U brake and 1990 was 1 1/8th headtube) with some Montage parts (SR/Sakae/Suntour Mix) and some Mirage (Exage Trail).

You have to be careful if changing the stem for this era, they were often 'still' 21.1mm.

I have a sickly Montage in the same colour languishing in the garden.

dont suppose you have a golf club style stem the same length as the one on my mirage bike knocking about you may part with ?
