My new giant. What year?

Just picked up this off gumtree. Runs nicely with a bit of tlc. Wondering if anyone knows what year this was made. Its a Giant Peleton with exage groupset and RX sit shifters. Also wondering how to raise the stem height. Not had a quill stem before and not seen a headset like that before either.

Loosen the bolt on top of the stem (only a few turns) then give it a lump with a mallet to release the wedge at the bottom of the stem inside the tube - then you should be able to move it. Been in there a little while though so might take a bit of shove. Set it to what ever high you want and do the bolt back up - which pulls on the wedge and locks it all in place.

It doesn't look particularly low though.

I would say its around 1996/7. If you have a good look over some of the components you may find some date stamps which may give a more accurate idea. Could be slightly earlier, I notice you don't have the extended seat tube that later models have.
