My new bike

So today after persuading the missus I really needed this bike I got her to drive the 60 mile round trip to get it

It has some quite good bits on it imo. Front hub deore lx, laced to a specialized rim, rear hub, r.s.p laced to weinmann rim. Shimano tora cranks, cb saddle (am guessing this is Claude butler but not sure. Seat post just has letters ka on it so probably a kalloy with letters rubbed off. Tektro v brakes with matching levers. Road bike rear shifter mounted on down tube, 501 tubing for the frame.
I k ow it's nothing special but it's a retro bike that rides quite well how it's set up now, which is for road use. I have a set of old canti's on another frame I may put on this just to make use of the guides that are there originally for canti's but will see. I'm just gunna try get some miles in on it first! Weather doesn't bother me but the missus never stops so we'll see about that too lol.

claud butler, townsend, falcon, british eagle and prob a few others came from the factory oop the road from me in brigg, mainly. cool, honest reliable bikes, as you say nowt boutique but you see more konas, kliens and merlins on here than townsends so rarer? enjoy it and hope to see some pics of your journeys dude

Am sure there will be some at some pics at some point.
Looked quite good on the pictures on eBay add how it is on my pictures also. Set up for road riding. And it's quite lite aswell so feels that bit nicer to ride.
