Meant to watch it but missed it
Is it on an iplayer somewhere?
Um, you did really read the first post, above, didn't you?

;-)

the northern-ness is just how they are - it isn't contrived for the cameras. they are both yellowbellied and proud

guy was indeed the fire ball at last year's tt. should be back this year.

mave does come across as guy's lacky, but that's what he was there for!

Watched it this time :)
Thoroughly enjoyed it and so did my mum

He was also on The Gadget Show testing mtb's out I think (missed it, part of a recap or maybe a forward cap :S)

northernisms well you southerners can all feck off then, nice to here some proper regional talk, we have to put up with your namby pamby accents and mannerism all the time ;)

Was he the guy in Evo a few months ago - looks like your average mechanic but has an Aston Martin in his gf's barn or something?

Just google'd it and yes it is him... there was a feature in this Evo -

(Incidently the M Coupe on the front cover is mine :) )

The northenisms really got up my nose,
it wasn't far off bloody whippets and flat caps.
Totally hackneyed phrases that said nothing, added nothing but tried to give an air of working class grit or some such stereotypical claptrap.

And as for grooming him as a future Fred Dibnah there is no way he could even walk in the mans shadow. Fred had a fantastic TV personality and he could tell a tale or two and he didn't need to resort to hollering 'Get a brew on lad' to try and give himself some cred

And the bloody tea tasting experiment WTF!?
And don't get me going on the iron casting,
Fred would be turning in his grave...

pogo im not sure what its like down your way but where i am theres like 80 plus channels and ive got this magic wand thing with buttons and everthing
