just sold my pace and went over to my old bedroom at my parents to wrap it as its getting paid for tomorrow.

couldnt move in the room for x2 san andreas, a merlin and the pace. theres another bike in the shed and one in my bedroom at home and im talking to this guy about a jones spaceframe still...........

i sat there and thought what the hell im i doing.

must of bought around 10 since last summer, i rarely ride any of them.

pace is going as are both san andreas but im now thinking about leaving the merlin, rather than spend money on it, and my moots is waiting on parts from canada to bling it up some more.

i must of spent over £10,000 if not more this past year.

im thinking i may still go for the jones and just get a cheap retro hack bike i can leave in the shed and keep the jones for rides out. and sell everything else

Dr S had a similar idea and i know exactly what he was feeling, no point in having loads of bikes and keep on buying more when you can only ride one.

im geting more, possibly on my number 4 now or so. im trying to build a bike for all outcomes i.e. a full sus, a hard tail, a rigid etc. this way i have the best bike for any situation. i will be keeping space in mind though by using as many similar parts (meaning i can switch over/use a part on multiple frames). dont have much cash or space but im getting there. i dont think i should really though, unless i really sick to my crossover parts plan :? :? wouldnt want too many bikes though, they would all have to be ridden to be kept

Salty, old chap,
You know how I feel about the Jones... :?
You were on the right track to begin with, with the Dekerf :D , but you thought you could do better, and you can. You obviously want ti, and I can't blame you, though Ritchey logic is possibly a better ride  , but forget the ugly grandad bike, and follow this chap's example:

As rare as the Jones, better looking, functional, cheaper (get two and send me one! )A much better ride, surely...
It's all you'll ever need, except a cheapy for the pub .
It'll be worth the wait, I'm certain. :D

the guy from the UK has pulled out of selling his now........it was a fully kitted out one with mega spec parts......and £5,500 but he wants to keep it now.

i still have the chance of a frame/fork/headset/EBB/seat binder setup for $6,000 (£3,900) from the USA.

failing that it looks like the only other option is to speak to jeff again about the two second hand frames he has in stock.

yeah.....i probaly will just keep one high end bike and a cheap retro bike for playing out on.

just sick of all the buying/selling, it aint good id rather have more time to ride with the summer coming up.

For gods sake dont think about it.Its like looking down when climbing
Its just something you dont do

Think nice thoughts...think nice thoughts...Think nice thoughts..

second UK seller has come up trumps, member on here too, so im picking up my new toy tomorrow!

will be nice to get down to 1 or 2 bikes again too.
