My first ever build, finished this morning !! Pace RC200 F6

very nice rob.....th gunmetal grey xtr thing is lovely on the crank and hubs, i too would go the amberwall route but very nice!.....how does it ride?....
 
cheers for the feedback guys, unfortunately since finishing it i have been struck down with a serious bout of man flu so not had a chance to get out on it yet :(

i am still on the hunt for some nos amber walls though :D :?:

Chuffed to bits with how its turned out, and if i can build a bike then anyone can ! (even laced the wheels myself !)

the tyres hurt my eyes apart from that smashing bike nice to see the old guys runnin again
 
Generally very nice - a not dissimilar choice of parts to what's on my own F6.

The gold chain and QRs are a bit "too much" for me. And of course - like everyone else has said, the tyres clash too much - particularly with the gold. And this is an XC bike - so platform pedals aren't really doing it for me.

Is that wear on the lower stanchions of the forks? Pity....

But very nice.

Loads better. Still a bit too much gold for my tastes (says the guy with gold stem,hubs,rotors,seatpost qr on his FSR!)
